Our Music ensembles are all up and running for the new year. Both the Orchestra and the Band have successfully transitioned to their new rehearsal times of Monday afternoon for the Orchestra and Tuesday afternoon for the Band. Capably lead by Ms Scott, Ms Morris and our new Director of Music, Mr Tony Paye the groups are busy preparing repertoire for our upcoming concerts.
Instrumental Music lessons are progressing well with the School making new appointments with Mr Darcy Mulcahy teaching Percussion, Mr Simon Baldwin teaching Brass and Ms Sarina Iocono joining us as our second Piano teacher. This is in addition our steadfastly remaining staff of Ms Scott teaching Strings, Ms Morris teaching Woodwind, Mr Czuchnowski and Ms Jakab teaching Voice, and Mr Hart adding an extra day to his Guitar/Bass teaching. We still have vacancies for all instruments so if you’ve ever wanted to do something for yourself and learn a musical instrument, come over and see one of our friendly Instrumental music staff or contact Mr Paye. We have vacancies in all orchestral instrument tuition (Brass, Woodwind, Strings and Percussion) as well as guitar and bass.
